Raukawa
Mai Maungatautari ki Wharepuhunga ki te Pae o Raukawa, tae noa ki Te Kaokaoroa o Patetere.
Raukawa was the son of Mahinaarangi and Turongo. He was directly descended from Hoturoa (commander of Tainui waka), and Tamatea (commander of Takitimu waka).
The geographical area of Raukawa in the Waikato includes Matamata, Cambridge, Te Awamutu, Tirau, Arapuni, Putaruru, Mangakino, Tokoroa, Atiamuri, and Mokai. The iwi comprises some 32 hapu and marae.
